Why We Love This Craft:
Visual Storytelling: The sliding strip helps children sequence the events of the Resurrection.
Interactive Learning: Moving the stone and sliding the strip keeps little hands engaged and minds curious.
Heart-Centered Message: Reinforces the hope and promise of the holiday: “I can live forever with the help of Jesus”.
What You’ll Need:
The Easter Tomb Template.
Crayons or markers (to color the tomb and story scenes).
Scissors (to cut out the tomb, stone, and story strip).
A brad (paper fastener) to make the stone roll.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Color and Cut
Start by coloring the tomb, the stone, and the four story strip boxes.

Carefully cut out each piece.

Adult Step: Use your scissors to cut the small “window” inside the tomb where the story scenes will appear.
2. Thread the Story Strip
3. Attach the Rolling Stone
Place the circular stone over the small hole on the tomb.

Push a brad through the stone and the tomb to secure it.
Now your child can roll the stone away to reveal the empty tomb!.
